Winners for in the Children’s “Young at Art” were judged by local artist Linda Molto:


IN THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CATEGORY:
Best of Show-Jessie Zhuo, age 10, Bashaw Elementary
2nd Place-Inga Gluszak, Kindergarten from Gullet Elementary
3rd Place-Victor Lopez, age 11, Bashaw Elementary
Honorable Mention-Camrinn Corkins, Grade 4, Sea Breeze Elementary
Honorable Mention-Mario Silva-Grade 5, Samoset Elementary

IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE CATEGORY:
Best of Show-Dylon McCranie grade 6 from Tara Elementary
2nd Place-Catriona Barr, age 12, Manatee School for the Arts
3rd Place-Elizabeth Finnerty, age 13, Manatee School for the Arts
Honorable Mention-Gabrielle Cornelius, age 12, Manatee School for the Arts
All the winners were given an art packet from Keeton's Office & Art Supply.

The Winners in the Adults Category
Judging for Winterfest 2013 was by Sarasota artist, Rhonda Gushee and cash prizes were awarded.  The Best of Show won $1,000, Awards of Distinction (4) $250, and Awards of Merit (5) $100.

The raffle prizes donated by the artists help fund the Youth and Adult Scholarship Program.
