November 10th: CHILDRENS artsHOP EVENTS
The children enjoyed making crafts at the Art League Courtyeard as part of the artsHOP weekend.
A young patron enjoyed one of the "Flights Of Fancy" exhibit displayed inside.
The Art League was fortunate enough to have Ed Straight from Wildlife Inc. The kids learned about what to do if they came upon a wild animal, and not to feed birds bread as it will cause a calcium deficiency and affect their wings. He brought two owls with him. Garfield, is pictured on his left, and ET is on his right.

FEEDING CHILDREN EVERYWHERE
Christine Galanopoulos, Ann Rousseau Morris, Diane Nielsen and our friend Kathleen from New York made up the Art League team and we all had a blast at the 2nd Annual AMI Feeding Children Everywhere-11/2/2013. Our table alone, packed 15 boxes of food which equals about 750 bags! The food will be distributed to people in Manatee County. It is such a good feeling to be able to help our neighbors.
